Unlock Your Potential in the Australian Defence Force

Are you ready to embark on a challenging and rewarding career serving your country? The Australian Defence Force (ADF) offers a diverse range of exciting opportunities, but finding the perfect fit requires understanding your strengths. This guide will explain the aptitude and ability testing process, helping you prepare and achieve your goals.

What is Aptitude & Ability Testing?

Aptitude and ability tests are designed to assess your natural talents and skills in relation to specific ADF roles. These tests help us match your strengths with the requirements of the job you’re interested in. By performing well, you increase your chances of landing your dream career.

What to Expect on Test Day

Testing Format: Aptitude and ability tests are administered either by computer or paper and pencil. Both formats are equally valid, and you can choose the one you’re most comfortable with.
Test Instructions: Clear and detailed instructions will be provided before each test. Don’t hesitate to ask the test room supervisor any questions you may have to ensure you understand the format and expectations.
